My Favorite Things
Whether you are looking to treat yourself or looking for a gift for a loved one, here are a few ideas for you. These are the things that I can’t live without. All of them make my life easier in some way and who can’t use a some “easier” in there life right now!
1) Scout Gym Bag: This bag is both cute and functional. The YMCA where I work for is requiring us to bring our own mats. I already feel like a pack mule most days so adding a mat to the mix added tothe 2 other bags I was already carrying. This bag allows me to keep it all together in one bag which makes me extremely happy! Check It Out Here
2) Onion Chopper: I’m allergic to onions so this may seem like an odd addition to my list. However, this small gadget does soooo much more than chop onions. I use this chopper every day to dice vegetables quickly and uniformly. It is a must have for someone who cooks often! Check It Out Here
3) This Just Speaks to Me: This is the second book written by Hoda Kotb that compiles quotes for each day of the year. It is lighthearted and insightful. Hoda’s humor makes me laugh at a time that we all need some more laughter. Put it on your bedside table and instead of turning on the newss or checking your phone first thing in the morning, open this book and start your day with positivity. Check it Out Here
4) Instant Pot: It was and still is an extremely useful tool to have in the kitchen. Although it takes up some space it is worth the real estate! I use this at least 4 days a week and it makes cooking staples like beans, rice and soup quick and easy. Buy the bigger version if you can. Cooking in batches will also save you time so even if you are cooing for one or two people make enough for five or six and freeze the rest for later. Check it Out Here
5) Anything from Athleta: I’m living in leggings and cozy sweatshirts but still want to look put together. Athleta’s clothing is comfortable and stylish. I’m especially a fan of their lined joggers I recently purchased Check It Out Here and their masks Check it Out Here.
